Samsung has started rolling out the replacements for their exploding Galaxy Note 7 smartphone. The initial shipment is 500,000 devices. Shockingly the recall has not been as successful as either the Safety Council or Samsung would have desired with only 25% of the recalled devices having been returned. Hopefully they are going to take the time to go into their carriers outlets and swap out their devices over the coming days and weeks. Why would anyone take a chance with a device that has an issues especially when Samsung are giving them a nice new one.
There are of course those that took the opportunity to switch to a totally different device.
Let’s hope these replacements do not suffer from the same issue.
